Overview
Ten glass baby bottle brands sold in the US, side by side, from each brand's own website on October 14, 2026. Prices run from under $3 to $30 a bottle. The real differences are what's on the outside of the glass, where the vent sits, and whether you can read the lab results.
Outside the glass Most are bare glass. Lifefactory adds a removable silicone sleeve. Munchkin, Pigeon and Tommee Tippee fix silicone to the glass for good. Ours is molded on.
The vent Most vent through the nipple. Dr. Brown's and Munchkin Bond use a vent tube inside the bottle, and Thyseed vents through the base.
Lab results We couldn't find third-party test results linked from any of the other nine brands' product pages. Thyseed says its reports are available on request.

How to choose
- Lowest cost: Evenflo's Classic glass is under $3 a bottle. It's plain glass with a vented nipple.
- A sleeve you can take off: Lifefactory. Dr. Brown's also sells sleeves separately.
- Silicone that stays on: Munchkin Bond, Pigeon's coated bottle, Tommee Tippee's coated bottle and our Wrapped Glass Bottle.
- The vent away from the nipple: Dr. Brown's and Munchkin use a tube inside the bottle. Thyseed vents through the base. Our optional Venting Tube carries air past the milk to the top.
- Glass inside, plastic outside: Chicco Duo puts a thin glass layer inside a plastic bottle.
Several of these brands call their bottles anti-colic. We explain what the research does and doesn't show in a separate guide.

Where we fit
We make two of the bottles in the table, so read this part knowing that.
The Wrapped Glass Bottle is borosilicate glass with food-grade silicone molded onto it, thickest at the base. It absorbs most drops and contains the glass if it does break. The Glass Bottle is the same glass with nothing on it, and the one we suggest for warming. Both take the same four nipple flows, named by pace: Drop, Sip, Stream and Rapid.
Our independent lab results are on our safety page: lead below 20 ppm in every part, including the silicone, and cadmium not detected.

Frequently asked questions
Which glass baby bottle is best?
It depends on what you want most. For low cost, plain glass like Evenflo's. For drop protection, a sleeve or silicone fixed to the glass. If lab results matter to you, look for a brand that publishes them.
What's the most expensive glass baby bottle?
Of the brands we checked, our Wrapped Glass Bottle at $30 a bottle, then Thyseed at $27.50. Most plain glass bottles cost $10 to $20 each.
Are high-end baby bottles worth it?
Sometimes. You're paying for what's on the outside of the glass, the vent design and, with some brands, published testing. Check what touches the milk on each brand's page.
Which glass baby bottles have a silicone sleeve?
Lifefactory includes a removable one, and Dr. Brown's sells them separately. Munchkin Bond, Pigeon's coated bottle, Tommee Tippee's coated bottle and Ronini's Wrapped Glass Bottle have silicone that stays on.
Do glass baby bottles come with lab test results?
Rarely. On October 14, 2026 we couldn't find third-party results linked from the product pages of the other nine brands we checked. Thyseed offers reports on request.
